The Sunset Lake Association of Portage County is pleased to announce a significant revision to its bylaws, now welcoming anyone interested in the health and well-being of Sunset Lake to become a member. Previously, membership was limited to landowners within 1 mile of the lake. This change reflects the association’s commitment to fostering a broader community of conservation-minded individuals dedicated to preserving and protecting the lake for future generations.

The association is actively seeking new members to assist with vital projects. Opportunities are available in website maintenance, newsletter production, fundraising, event coordination, grant writing, and water quality monitoring. If you have skills or interests in any of these areas, we encourage you to get involved and contribute to the lasting health of Sunset Lake.
